FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH MISSION STATEMENT
The First Presbyterian Church, Mayfield, Kentucky is a worshipping community called into fellowship with God and with one another, to grow in the love and knowledge of Christ, and to proclaim the Good News of salvation through stewardship, evangelism, and service to others. We will stress responsibility of the individual; and we will nurture ministries of education, music recreation, fellowship, and caring for our church family. We will minister to the needs of the poor, the sick and lonely, and the powerless, not only within our own congregation and community, but wherever we may find them. |
